Versatile with other apps
Voicemod’s base features for both PC and mobile versions include real-time and live voice changing, more than 40 unique voice effects, and an easy-to-use interface. However, the desktop app includes more functionalities—most of them geared towards seamless integration with other programs like Stream Deck and Streamlabs OBS. It also works with online games and VR games, voice chat programs like Discord and Skype, and can be used for ASMR or prank video calls.
One advanced feature is the Meme Sound Machine, the soundboard function that lets you assign uploaded audio files to your hotkeys. You can freely customize your sound effects with MP3 and WAV files. Voicemod has more than 40 preset voice skins and effects available—such as the classic Chipmunk, Robot, and AutoTune—and allows customization. However, Free Mode only has six random voices that change daily and three slots in the Meme Sound Machine.
On the other hand, the mobile version is only limited to preset options but has more than enough to make things fun. It has the base features but also offers real-time face filters, as it enables video selfie recording. You can record yourself, switch your voice to any of the unique voices available, any facial filters that interest you, and share it on social media. However, it doesn’t integrate with other apps—even the communication ones.

Voicemod is user-friendly on both versions. However, it’s only really versatile on PC as it has room for more integrations. It was originally designed to be used in online gaming, and the mobile one can’t really extend that far—although the developers offer the program’s SDK for free. However, Voicemod PRO offers unlimited voice effects, more customization, and infinite slots on the soundboard.
